Stone wool is a mineral insulation material made from melted stones,
mainly Basalt, Diabase or similar volcanic stones, Dolomite or Limestone
and recycled material.
The raw materials are melted at around 1,500 °C and spun into fine fibers.
Stone wool is mainly used as thermal and acoustic insulation -
in roofs, walls, ceilings and facades.
It is particularly suitable for fire protection because it is non-flammable and
can withstand temperatures of up to 1,000 °C.
The advantages are high fire resistance, good insulating properties,
mold resistance and that it is water-repellent.
A wide range of stone wool products can be produced with the
complete lines and equipment of Guangxing Machinery.
